Since May 9, DOUGLAS has been inviting beauty fans and interested parties to its newly opened pop-up store at Ackerstraße 151 in Düsseldorf. With the innovative concept, the leading omnichannel provider is creating a creative space for brand staging, community experiences and local cooperation - right in the heart of Flingern.
The store was officially opened on May 8 as part of an exclusive pre-opening event - attended by international guests and prominent visitors, including entrepreneur Khloé Kardashian. Since June 20, Valentino Beauty has been shaping the brand world in the pop-up with a new fragrance collection and will be in focus with the “Coffee & Flowers” theme until the end of
July.
A Place for creative Brand-Experiences
The pop-up store is designed as a DOUGLAS Café: a changeable experience space in which brands have the opportunity to present their products in an emotional and inspiring setting
every month - as a mono- or multi-brand space. The overarching concept changes every month at to provide visitors with new inspiration until the end of the year.
Coffee & Flowers - a floral fragrance experience with Valentino
Guests can currently expect a modern, floral concept: Coffee & Flowers. With every drink, visitors receive a bouquet of dried flowers in a stylish flower holder, a fragrance sample from
Valentino and other surprises - the perfect detail for a special content moment. The drinks menu ranges from espresso to iced matcha, served by local gastronomy partner Laekkert Deli (Ackerstraße 137). All drinks are offered exclusively in to-go format and the DOUGLAS pop-up café is open Thursdays to Saturdays.
Other highlights at the pop-up: photo spots in front of the striking DOUGLAS garage door, testing stations, sample promotions and a small gift with the purchase of a drink.
Focus on Düsseldorf
With the pop-up store, DOUGLAS is sending a clear signal to the city of Düsseldorf. “Our company headquarters are located in Düsseldorf - that's why it's always important to us to launch community-oriented concepts here and at the same time create new spaces for our customers to experience together with local restaurants and entrepreneurs,” explains Charlotte Maria Rizza, Head of Media, PR & Events at DOUGLAS.
