Art-Invest transforms the Wehrhahn Spitze into a work of art by academy graduate Denise Werth

- Large-format, abstract form elements shine on three stair towers
- The young artist Denise Werth wins the competition in the class of Prof. Scheibitz, Kunstakademie Düsseldorf
- Art-Invest is once again committed to supporting art students and artists on a social level

The centrally located office building at the corner of Adlerstrasse and Schirmerstrasse, built in 1987, stands out due to its special shape: Three building wings with up to seven floors are grouped around a landscaped courtyard on an area of 2,661 m². Now the building looks uniquer because of the three stair towers that have been made more attractive with large-format artworks. These artworks were created by Denise Werth, who this year successfully completed her liberal arts studies at the renowned Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under Prof. Thomas Scheibitz. Previously, she was in the class of Prof. Katharina Fritsch. Werth has been represented in numerous exhibitions in various art associations, KIT, Folkwang Museum, Museum Kunstpalast (Die Grosse) and now won the 10,000 euro tender for the office property of Art-Invest. "The work Notes on an unconditional form shows syntheses of forms from my collection, which have been combined into three different compositions and applied as large paintings to the tower facades in the inner courtyard. With their intense colors and formal arrangement, they contrast with the geometric appearance of the architecture," says Werth.

The Wehrhahn Spitze features classic brick elements that have been combined with large glass facades. The property, which was acquired and full refurbished in 2018, has office space on 9,511m² of leasable area. A total of 164 parking spaces are available to employees on two floors. Pempelfort is a popular, cosmopolitan and multifaceted district of Düsseldorf, that borders the Rhine and the city center and is known for its cultural institutions. In addition to the three artworks by Denise Werth, the tenants of the office building also enjoy the numerous gastronomic establishments, various shopping opportunities and the large parks in the surrounding area.
