Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet is once again celebrating this year's Pride Month with an innovative art initiative that aims to set an example for more visibility and acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community beyond the borders. To this end, the fashion outlet is staging an interactive exhibition with the artist and musician Strify. His individual creation of a puzzle piece reflects Strify's personal story of pride. Together with eight other works by local artists from all European VIA Outlets centers, the result is a complete work of art that is now being presented in a Europe-wide networked exhibition at the Fashion Outlet Zweibrücken. “The pieces of the puzzle show that the story of each individual is unique and, taken together as a whole, contributes to the larger story of the Pride community,” explains Laura Biedermann, Campaign Manager Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet.
Pride month is celebrated as an international celebration of diversity. It is the peaceful fight for equality and a significant contribution to raising awareness of this important issue. VIA Outlets and the Fashion Outlet Zweibrücken take their responsibility towards the community seriously and show this with an artistic symbol of community, solidarity and support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
