Sarah Vieten becomes Managing Director at Fashion Net Düsseldorf e.V.

As of February 1, Sarah Vieten will officially take over the management of the Düsseldorf fashion association Fashion Net, replacing Angelika Firnrohr, who has held the post for many years.

As a native of Mönchengladbach, Sarah Vieten was already drawn to the state capital during her student days, where she completed her studies in media and cultural studies at the HHU. From 2009 to 2016, Vieten helped Düsseldorf-based fashion company JADES achieve both digital and brick-and-mortar success. As content, social media and PR manager for the online store JADES24 and with responsibility for various VIP events, she played a key role in shaping the store's external image. This was followed by positions in the global marketing and content team of the renowned cookware expert ZWILLING as well as at the Cologne-based SNIPES subsidiary ONYGO. As a lecturer, she gave practical seminars on fashion and online journalism at AMD Düsseldorf. Since 2019, Vieten supported Düsseldorf-based fashion designer and entrepreneur Stephanie Hahn in the project development of Germany's first "Green Luxury" concept store LIVE LAB STUDIOS. Since the opening, she has regularly planned and organized cross-sector as well as cross-thematic happenings with event character as store manager.

Through her years of expertise, she has been able to build up an extensive network of opinion leaders in fashion, beauty and interior design. "By taking over the Fashion Net management, I would like to contribute my diverse professional and industry experience and contribute to the positive location development of my beloved adopted city. Düsseldorf is full of creative minds and fashion potential. I am looking forward to many new challenges, tasks and a productive dialogue between all stakeholders," says Vieten about her new position.

Her predecessor Angelika Firnrohr successfully led the association since 2016 and will henceforth devote herself to other projects. "I am proud to have found a great successor for the position of Fashion Net management in Sarah Vieten. She stands out for her long-standing contribution to the Düsseldorf fashion industry, which is characterized by enthusiasm. Her forward-looking ideas on art, fashion, culture, sustainability and also female empowerment fit perfectly into today's spirit of the times and will provide great impetus," says Firnrohr.
