In the spirit of community, social and societal commitment, the Andreas Quartier shone in festive anticipation of the holidays on December 5, 2023 for the Christmas Charity Club Concert 3.0 and supported the "Stiftung RTL - Wir helfen Kindern e.V." foundation - for the third time.
A total of 170,000 euros was raised from the 120 invited guests on the evening.
The first Tuesday in December is a pioneering charity event in Germany and has symbolized a day in the spirit of charity and social responsibility for three years now. Thanks to the dedicated initiative of Frankonia Eurobau AG and the "Stiftung RTL - Wir helfen Kindern e.V." foundation, the event at Mbassy by Franks and Frank's Club sets an example of commitment to helping disadvantaged children in the context of top-class musical entertainment by Marc Marshall.
The elegance of solidarity
The Andreas Quartier, embedded in the historic architecture of the former district and regional court, is not only an important part of Düsseldorf's city history, but also a platform for an important message. As a symbol of justice, the former Palace of Justice served as a courthouse for numerous important court proceedings from 1911 to 2016 and witnessed significant events and legal decisions in the region. Today, it is home to the luxury boutique hotel THE WELLEM, which is a refuge for luxurious culture, art and the finer things in life. A place where the senses of history, culture, justice and beauty come together.
In the noble atmosphere of this cultural retreat, guests, artists and organizers become actors in a movement dedicated to the fight against child poverty in North Rhine-Westphalia. Marc Marshall provided top-class musical entertainment exclusively at Frank's Club, followed by a first-class after-show dinner at Mbassy by Franks, which was accompanied by the hosts Manuela and Uwe Schmitz and Wolfram Kons. The invited guests included many celebrities from the worlds of film and art as well as representatives from business and politics.
Together against child poverty in NRW
In Germany, one in five children grows up in poverty - that's almost three million children and young people. This poverty leads to educational problems, health challenges and social isolation. In view of the increasing number of people affected, it is particularly important to the organizers to help here. Every cent collected at the Christmas Charity Club Concert 3.0 will go directly to selected children's aid projects run by the "Stiftung RTL - Wir helfen Kindern e.V." foundation. RTL has been committed to helping children in need in Germany and around the world since 1996. RTL Germany bears all costs for personnel, production and administration relating to the "Stiftung RTL - Wir helfen Kindern e.V." foundation and the associated RTL telethon. The foundation has carried the coveted DZI donation seal of approval since 2002 and has been recognized for its support of thousands of children's aid projects in recent years.
