Felix Thomas becomes new Managing Director of Schwitzke ID

Prof. Felix Thomas takes over as managing director of the brand and design agency Schwitzke Identity Design GmbH on 1 December. He succeeds Markus Schwitzke, who is leaving the company after 17 years.

"With Felix Thomas, an experienced designer comes to head Schwitzke ID, who will provide valuable support to our clients with his international expertise in strategy, brand development and real estate branding," emphasises Karl Schwitzke, Managing Director of Schwitzke GmbH. "We are convinced that Felix will successfully develop our ID team and that we will continue our growth in this area with him."

Prof. Felix Thomas (*1974) graduated as a designer in Aachen in 2001 before he moved to his second home Spain. In Barcelona and London, Felix Thomas was significantly involved in the conception and design of many international design projects on the topics of brand, retail, scenography and signage between 2002 and 2008. After returning to Germany, Felix Thomas set up his own business in Düsseldorf in 2009 and founded the design office thomascorporate.

His references include design commissions for lifestyle brands such as Braun, Siemens, Shiseido or the Moscow luxury shopping centre "Vremena Goda", for cities and regions such as Mulhouse, Lyon and the Generalitat de Catalunya as well as for real estate developers such as Pandion, LVR, Hines, Goodman, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, ECE.

Thomas teaches design processes and creativity at the University of Media, Communication and Business in Cologne. He speaks German, English, Spanish, French and Italian.
