Premiere of the "Touched by Nature" campaign for the iconic Weleda skin care "Skin Food"

With its new and far-reaching "Touched by Nature" campaign, Weleda is launching a brand modernization course and at the same time addressing the pronounced social desire and longing for more harmony between people and nature. Weleda stands for certified natural cosmetics based on selected medicinal plants and has been promoting precisely this deep connection between man and nature for over 100 years.

With its new and far-reaching "Touched by Nature" campaign, Weleda is launching a brand modernization course and at the same time addressing the pronounced social desire and longing for more harmony between people and nature. Weleda stands for certified natural cosmetics based on selected medicinal plants and has been promoting precisely this deep connection between man and nature for over 100 years.

The focus is on touch. On the one hand, the campaign shows how nature wraps itself protectively around our skin. Guided by the knowledge that the most effective ingredients come from nature itself. On the other hand, it shows the desire to touch. Because touch is the best proof of "skin that is beautiful to touch".

"Our customers know that by choosing highly effective Weleda products, they are also making a choice for our planet," says Weleda CMO Lars Zirpins. Sustainability has played a central role at Weleda since the company was founded. For more than 100 years, Weleda has stood for consistently natural ingredients and regenerative business practices.

The campaign, created in collaboration with production agency Tempomedia and creative consultant Mathias Stiller, will be launched on February 1, 2024 with a focus on a young target group. Based on a "digital first" media strategy, the campaign focuses on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and Tik Tok. The digital activities are flanked by connected TV, addressable TV and targeted out-of-home activities with giant posters and megalights as well as programmatic digital OOH around the relevant shopping locations in major German cities.

Under the Skin Food series, Weleda will also be successively launching the new Skin Food Nourishing Facial Care with a highly effective day and night care product in the DACH countries from February.
