WELEDA FLAGSHIP LONGEVITY SPA OPENS IN THE HEART OF DÜSSELDORF
With the first Weleda flagship spa in Düsseldorf, the natural cosmetics pioneer has set another milestone: a holistic wellness oasis has been created on 270 square metres, which implements the theme of longevity – i.e. sustainable health and natural longevity – as a 360-degree experience. The opening also marks the start of expansion in the DACH region – a response to the growing demand for proven natural cosmetics and modern skin science.
NATURAL. HOLISTIC. FUTURE-ORIENTED.
The first Weleda Flagship Spa combines individual treatments, regenerative massages and a modern understanding of holistic well-being with tangible expertise and 100% certified natural cosmetics. The focus is on the body's own regenerative abilities and the interplay between inner and outer balance.
‘For us, longevity means thinking holistically about natural beauty and vitality – beyond the skin,’ says Tina Müller, CEO of Weleda. "With our spa, we are creating a space where people consciously take time for themselves to strengthen their body, mind and senses.´
The new concept goes far beyond classic applications: deep-acting treatments, personal consultation and mindful me-time are at the heart of holistic self-care. The range of treatments is complemented by carefully developed Cell Longevity Treatments that activate and strengthen the body and skin at the cellular level, including the Arnica Back Massage, the invigorating Vital Massage, deeply relaxing hot stone treatments, partner treatments in one room, the activating Unique Glow Facial and the regenerating ‘mini break’ – a soothing combination of aromatic oil massage and facial.
The Signature Massage Body, Soul & Spirit is particularly special. It focuses on the harmony of body, soul and spirit. Inspired by anthroposophy, it combines healing elements from rhythmic rubdown with a sequence of different scents from the Weleda garden. The senses open up, tensions and
emotions dissolve, and the mind is alert and clear after the treatment.
In the integrated shop, guests can discover the diversity of Weleda products, benefit from tailor-made self-care offers and a high-quality ambience. Immediately after their treatment, they can take home suitable care products or put together new routines individually – an experience that has a long-lasting effect. Enveloped in natural fragrance compositions and the power of traditional medicinal plants, every visit becomes a journey for all the senses. "Parallel to the opening in Düsseldorf, we are also introducing our new spa concept in the Weleda spas in Hamburg and Stuttgart," says Rita Wirtz, managing director of what are now three Weleda spas in Germany. The host at the Weleda Flagship Spa in Düsseldorf is spa manager Nicole Edringer.
ARCHITECTURE FOR ALL THE SENSES – DESIGNED BY SCHWITZKE & PARTNER
The Düsseldorf-based architectural firm Schwitzke & Partner was commissioned to create the special look and feel. With their expertise in vibrant brand spaces, they have created a design that combines natural materials, warm lighting and well-thought-out spatial architecture.
With high-quality walnut wood slats, plants, natural stone elements and a colour palette of soft, earthy shades, this retreat unfolds across two floors and five treatment rooms, creating a calm, inviting environment that promotes discretion and relaxation. The materials and design reflect and bring to life the values of Weleda – holistic beauty and sustainability.
DÜSSELDORF AS A STRATEGIC LOCATION FOR WELEDA
With its flagship spa, Weleda is specifically strengthening its presence in the city centre and deliberately focusing on Düsseldorf. In the revitalised district around the Carsch House, a place is being created where city life, longevity and lifestyle come together. This new attraction is thus providing fresh impetus for inner-city development and exemplifies the brand's next step towards expansion.
