25 years of Tertianum Residenz: Constance celebrates with music, history and joie de vivre
Residents, partners, long-standing employees and guests from politics and the local community celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Tertianum Premium Group at the Konstanz residence yesterday evening with an atmospheric summer reception. Under the motto ‘Life knows no age’, everyone laughed, sang, reminisced and raised a glass together.
The event kicked off in the afternoon with an exclusive jazz concert for the residents of the residence. From 5 p.m. onwards, external guests also joined in, welcomed by the stylish piano music of Armin Priganica and a summery aperitif.
Residence Director Barbara Dietzler opened the programme with a warm welcome to the guests: "What makes our residence unique are the many small and large experiences we share together: encounters, conversations, laughter. It is this human solidarity that can be felt here every day. We want our residents to not only feel safe and well cared for, but also to be able to live with dignity and feel truly at home in every phase of life. It is all the more wonderful that we can celebrate this together today."
The choir, consisting of twelve residents of the residence, gave the audience goose bumps twice with four lovingly rehearsed songs that were very well received by the guests. Mayor Uli Burchardt was also a guest and emphasised in his welcoming speech: ‘The Tertianum residence has long been an integral part of our city. Here, community is not just promised, but lived every day. It is wonderful to see how participation, togetherness and joie de vivre find their place so naturally in old age.’
The Brasserie Colette Tim Raue treated guests to a flying buffet. Historian and city guide Ulrich Büttner provided an entertaining highlight: with plenty of humour and a twinkle in his eye, he took the audience on a journey through the history of the city of Konstanz and the Tertianum Residenz Konstanz.
