Brasserie Colette Tim Raue and Schatzi Dirndl celebrate Munich lifestyle at pre-Oktoberfest cocktail party

In the run-up to the Oktoberfest season, Munich-based dirndl studio Schatzi and Brasserie Colette Tim Raue hosted an exclusive pre-Oktoberfest cocktail party yesterday evening. Around 110 invited guests, including designer Sonja Kiefer, founder of HaarWerk Salons Ayse Auth, model Anja Wessel-Ellermann, entrepreneur Tina Brandl, and former footballer Matthias Imhof, enjoyed a stylish get-together full of Munich lifestyle, fashion and cuisine from 7 p.m. onwards.

The focus of the evening was Schatzi's new ready-to-wear collection. Designer Katharina Lukas, who has been known for her individual style in modern traditional costume fashion since 2004, presented handmade dirndls made from fine fabrics that combine classic silhouettes with extravagant aesthetics.

Katharina Lukas emphasises: ‘Fashion needs an attitude to life, and that's exactly what you could feel that evening. Brasserie Colette offers the perfect setting for presenting my collection: stylish, cosmopolitan and with a relaxed atmosphere. Brasserie Colette has long been an integral part of Munich's nightlife culture, just like the dirndl is to Oktoberfest.’

She has a long-standing personal friendship with the team. Brasserie Colette is part of Tertianum Premium Residenz Munich, with which Schatzi has already successfully collaborated, including with a pop-up store.

Brasserie Colette also sees the collaboration as a wonderful opportunity to showcase traditional Bavarian fashion: ‘We love combining enjoyment with culture. Brasserie Colette appeals to people who appreciate elegance and craftsmanship. We are proud to be part of this special experience,’ says head chef Dominik Obermeier.

Brasserie Colette provided the culinary highlight of the evening with a flying buffet. The menu featured classics and seasonal specialities by two-star chef Tim Raue, whose unmistakable signature style has made the brasserie a hotspot on the Munich gastronomic scene since 2015. As a self-confessed fan of the Bavarian capital and lover of French food culture, Raue has created a culinary lifestyle in Munich that combines the best of both worlds.

In a relaxed atmosphere, guests not only enjoyed excellent food, but also viewed the collection, discussed Oktoberfest trends and took advantage of the opportunity to network. The evening was a successful start to the coming season.
