Comprehensive modernization for Pernod Ricard office in Cologne General contractor Schwitzke Project realizes conversion during ongoing office operations

Schwitzke Project has comprehensively modernized the Pernod Ricard Germany office at Habsburgerring 2 in Cologne. On an area of around 3,000 square meters, an office concept was created that combines lifestyle, design and modern working. The project, which was completed in three construction phases over eight months during ongoing operations, sets new standards in terms of flexibility, aesthetics and the implementation of 'New Work' concepts.

The conversion was carried out on the basis of the design and planning by raum.atelier Goldemann-Sabbak and Hasiewicz Innenarchitekten PartGmbB. They supervised the entire conversion from the design workshops through the design phase and monitoring of implementation to successful completion. The result is a modern office with 110 workstations, which includes open creative spaces, individual telephone booths and special focus rooms for concentrated work. Each Pernod Ricard brand has also been given its own specially designed meeting room to reflect the respective brand character. Schwitzke Project was responsible for the complete interior fit-out including furnishings, workplace and ambient lighting as well as the implementation of kitchens, meeting rooms with product placement and special areas such as an IT bar. Thanks to the successful coordination of all the trades involved, the project was implemented smoothly despite ongoing operations.

In addition to the individual work areas, special attention was paid to the prestigious bar in the entrance area, which can be used as a central meeting point for a variety of purposes. Whether coffee talk, town hall meetings or monthly after-work networking - the bar provides a stage for special events and product presentations. The collaboration with Marian Krause, raum.atelier and Stil Manipulation GmbH has given the Welcome Area of Pernod Ricard Germany its inviting and cosmopolitan flair.

Sarah Frehn, HR Project Manager, explains: "As part of New Work, we have converted our office into a modern, flexible office. The activity-based working concept is intended to promote cross-divisional collaboration and further strengthen our convivial corporate culture while responding to the new flexibility in the world of work. " Wolfgang Sigg, Managing Director responsible at Schwitzke Project, adds: "Thanks to our flexibility, good planning and excellent collaboration with our client, we were able to complete the conversion on schedule during ongoing operations without any delays. We are very pleased about that."
