Germany’s largest World Cup scoreboard is in Düsseldorf UNIQ TOWERS will display live scores from the 2026 World Cup on their facade
Whilst the 2026 FIFA World Cup is being held in the USA, Canada and Mexico, an extraordinary World Cup hotspot is taking shape in the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia: in Düsseldorf’s Medienhafen, the UNIQ TOWERS will be displaying the live World Cup scores on their façade from 11 19 July 2026, the UNIQ TOWERS in Düsseldorf’s Media Harbour will display the latest World Cup scores live on their façade, creating what is likely to be the world’s largest World Cup scoreboard.
The results of the ongoing World Cup matches are projected in real time onto the towers of the new office complex at Kaistraße 1, which stand up to 71 metres tall. Due to its size and height, the display is visible far beyond the Media Harbour, including from the Rheinkniebrücke bridge as well as from neighbouring districts and local authorities.
The screenings will take place daily between 10.15 pm and 4.45 am. This is the organisers’ response to the time difference with the venues in North America, which means that the majority of the matches take place in the evening and at night, German time.
“With the UNIQ TOWERS, we are creating a new architectural landmark in Düsseldorf’s Medienhafen. With the complex nearing completion, we want to use this extraordinary initiative to make an early statement and offer the people of Düsseldorf a special experience. The World Cup brings together millions of people worldwide and we are delighted that the UNIQ TOWERS are already becoming part of city life and will transform the Medienhafen into a football stage visible from afar for a few weeks,” explains Dr Hanjo Hautz, Managing Director of the MOMENI Group.
For the technical implementation, several high-performance projectors will be installed on 8 June on the roof terraces of the 12th floor, which are approximately 51 metres high. From there, the scores will be projected onto the distinctive curved sections of the four towers. The initiative is being organised by the MOMENI Group in collaboration with the Hamburg-based creative agency KURIOS GmbH.
The World Cup campaign also marks the first public appearance of UNIQ TOWERS. The complex, developed by the MOMENI Group, is being built in collaboration with Black Horse Investments to designs by Christoph Ingenhoven and ingenhoven associates. The project comprises four towers, each up to 71 metres tall and with up to 18 storeys, each featuring green roof terraces. Covering a gross floor area of around 30,000 square metres, the development will feature modern office space, spacious terraces and publicly accessible open spaces in the heart of the Medienhafen. Completion of the building is scheduled for the end of 2026.
With the UNIQ TOWERS, the MOMENI Group is continuing its long-standing development work in Düsseldorf. The company’s best-known projects include the renovation of the Dreischeibenhaus, as well as recent developments such as LYGHT, TRINKAUS KARREE and ONE PLAZA.
