NEW OPENING: MR. GATSBY HAS A SECOND RESIDENCE IN DÜSSELDORF: GRANDE ÈTOILE
Düsseldorf, 30 September 2021. The second GRANDE ÉTOILE has opened on Bastionstrasse in Carlstadt. First in a soft opening and on 9 October officially with the Grand Opening for invited guests. The upscale décor in the style of the golden 20s is also the trademark of the second GRANDE.
The first restaurant in Derendorf is known as "GRANDE ÉTOILE D'Argent" and is particularly popular for lunch and as an event location. With its silver décor, it is Mr. Gatsby's living and event space.
The "GRANDE ÉTOILE D'Or" in Carlstadt is elegant and sets the ambience on a higher level of silence. The interior design, for example, comes from the renowned Düsseldorf architect Jürgen Geiselhart. With precious materials and lots of gold, the D'Or lives up to its name. Classic elements are combined with warm colours and modern accents. This is reflected in the menu. It is a little more refined and upscale. Single cuts with a choice of side dishes, sea bass with saffron risotto, scallops and oysters, but also pasta are served. Meat and fish dishes thus mix with European classics and refined homemade desserts. Nevertheless, the GRANDE remains true to its concept. Above all, it wants to whisk its guests away to a dream world and provide them with an unforgettable stay.
Blue salon for private dining
With the "Blue Salon", the GRANDE ÉTOILE D'Or also offers an exclusive private dining area. Here, business lunches or private events can be held in peace and quiet in a small group of up to 12 people. Digital presentation facilities are available for this purpose. The restaurant offers a total of around 100 seats.
Evening entertainment in the trendy Carlstadt is also provided. A well-deserved drink can be enjoyed at the bar, in one of the séparées or in the lounge in front of the fireplace. On Fridays and Saturdays, the restaurant becomes a bar with relaxed beats from 11 pm. Bar manager Stefan Damentgen and his team pamper guests with drinks from the 20s.
