Polestar has developed a second limited edition of the Polestar 2 as part of its Polestar Engineered portfolio: the BST edition 230. Based on the exceptional chassis modifications developed for the ultimate driving pleasure of the original BST model, the new version places a stronger focus on performance design details.
"Limited edition models like the BST edition 230 allow us to implement colors, graphics and materials in a faster and more creative way," said Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar.
Unique design upgrades for the Polestar 2 BST edition 230, with 350 kW of power and 680 Nm of torque, include exclusive green "Nebula" paint and MicroSuede upholstery for the seats and steering wheel inserts - made from partially recycled nubuck textiles. The exterior can also be ordered in "Space" (black) color. A continuous stripe running across the vehicle is also available as an option for both body colors.
All of the chassis upgrades that were first used on the Polestar 2 BST edition 270 are also part of the new special model. These include lowering (-25 mm), specially designed and unique dual-adjustable Öhlins shock absorbers, front strut brace, 20 percent stiffer springs and unique 21-inch black alloy wheels. These take their cue from those on the Polestar 1 and are fitted with 245/35R21 Pirelli P Zero tires developed specifically for the BST model.
A total of 230 examples will be produced for the European and North American Polestar markets. These will be available to order online at polestar.com from March 21, 2023. Deliveries are expected from the third quarter of 2023.
