HATO Restaurants opens first German location and leases 500 m² of gastronomy space in the sustainable lighthouse project
The coveted restaurant space in one of Germany's most sustainable buildings has been rented. HATO Restaurants rents around 500 m² of gastronomy space in The Cradle and brings the successful concept, already established in Switzerland, to Germany. From completion of the building next year, guests in Düsseldorf's Medienhafen will be treated with Fine Asian Cuisine. In line with the building's philosophy, the concept provides for an exclusive and sustainable approach. HATO was nominated by Gault Millau as one of the three best Asian restaurants in Switzerland and received the international Red Dot Design Award.
Exquisite delights, exotic flavors in a cosmopolitan ambience in a prime location, is how HATO describes itself and promises its guests an inspiring taste experience. "With HATO, we have gained for The Cradle an exclusive, detail-oriented gastronomy offering that will enrich the location," expresses project manager Andreas Willms of INTERBODEN with satisfaction. "Both the location and the building are something very special. Accordingly, HATO's unique, high-quality gastronomy concept with a sustainable orientation also fits in perfectly here." With the gastronomy area, the last vacant spaces of the pioneering project based on the cradle-to-cradle principle have also been leased - and this before completion. A holistic mobility concept with e-mobility as well as bike and car sharing services additionally increases the building's utility beyond the property boundaries and enriches the entire surrounding area. These services and many more are embedded in the building's own The Cradle app.
Refreshing gastronomy concept for The Cradle
HATO made a name for itself in the Swiss gastronomy scene with Fine Asian Cuisine in spectacular locations. Its consistently implemented motto "unique & inspiring" struck a chord with a cosmopolitan clientele and was consequently implemented at several hotspots. Each HATO location convinces with an attentive crew with an eye for detail and a unique interior design. In order to provide the future users and visitors of The Cradle with high-quality pan-Asian culinary delights, HATO conceives a customized offer. This is to be characterized by versatile, healthy lunch menus and an inspired cocktail menu. The interior design concept includes a spacious outdoor area for refreshing lunches or after-work drinks. "For us, sustainability is not a buzzword, but a way of life and an attitude," says COO Ramzi Ben said of HATO. "That is why we have chosen The Cradle as our first address in Germany with full conviction. HATO is the first Fine Asian Cuisine and Lounge with an international image, which we want to make the new flagship in one of the most exposed locations in Düsseldorf."
