The New York Collection by Harry Winston 718 Marble Marquetry
Every single piece in Harry Winston’s New York Collection is imbued with the rhythm, architecture and timeless charm of the city of the same name. The 718 Marble Marquetry collection draws its inspiration from the brand’s flagship salon on Fifth Avenue, which welcomes clients from all over the world into a realm of extraordinary jewels.
When Harry Winston opened the store at 718 Fifth Avenue in March 1960, he chose an 18th-century French-style building, constructed at a time when the city’s architectural landscape was characterised by minimalist design. Every detail of the salon was meticulously considered and reflects Harry Winston’s conviction that beauty should not be hidden, but shared with others. The 718 Marble Marquetry series translates this architectural vision into a high jewellery collection.
Inspired by the black-and-white facets of the marble in the salon, the jewellery transforms precision and colour contrasts into a wealth of geometric forms. Consisting of a set comprising a necklace, earrings and a ring, the design features an arrangement of ten gemstones in teardrop cuts set around several emerald-cut diamonds, blending colour and light into a magnificent work of art.
Presented in a stunning array of coloured gemstones combined with exquisite diamonds – including rubies, blue sapphires, pink sapphires, spessartites, yellow diamonds and black spinels – each creation reflects Harry Winston’s commitment to exceptional jewellery.
The 718 Marble Marquetry collection brings the architectural legacy of the Fifth Avenue flagship salon to life in exquisite form. Each jewel tells a story of elegance and craftsmanship, embodying the spirit of Harry Winston’s New York.
