Turn on the Lights x Instyle event at Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet delights visitors

The Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet kicked off the festive season in style on Friday, 7 November with the ‘Turn on the lights x Instyle’ event. RTL presenter Rebecca Mir counted down to the big moment with visitors and, at 6:15 pm sharp, bathed the entire centre in festive splendour. It was a magical moment that touched everyone's hearts, followed by Christmas concerts by ‘Voice of Germany’ artists Katja Friedenberg, Juan Geck and Marvin Merkhöfer. "Our “Turn on the lights” event is a real highlight of the pre-Christmas season. It creates a moment that brings people together and makes the magic of the pre-Christmas season tangible. When the thousand lights are switched on, the centre is transformed into an atmospheric winter wonderland – inviting visitors to enjoy a very special shopping experience," says Uli Nölkensmeier, Centre Director of Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet.

Doing good in the run-up to Christmas
In this festive atmosphere, Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet also turned its attention to people in need. The centre used the event to present its cooperation with the non-profit association ‘RPR Hilft e.V.’. That same evening, Centre Director Uli Nölkensmeier presented a donation certificate worth €1,500, encouraging visitors to take part in the major fundraising campaign for children with heart disease in Rhineland-Palatinate and to fulfil special heartfelt wishes. Donation boxes will be available in the centre until the end of the month, with 100 per cent of the donations going to support the affected children and their families.

Fashion, glamour and exclusive experiences
This year's Late Night Shopping event was accompanied by lifestyle magazine Instyle. During a talk on stage, Instyle fashion experts shared exclusive insights into glamorous festive looks and the most beautiful trends for the Christmas season. At a meet & greet with Rebecca Mir, visitors had the opportunity to meet the successful model in person and be inspired by her style. Inspired by these impressions, many guests found their personal favourite piece for the holidays in the more than 120 brand stores.
In addition, the event offered numerous activities, from hair and make-up styling in the Instyle lounge to exclusive offers from participating brands, including a Fossil engraving station where key rings were personalised. There was also a special eye-catcher for car enthusiasts in the form of a Porsche 911 GT3 with Touring Package (992 II) on display, as well as a competition in cooperation with the Porsche Centre Kaiserslautern. And the younger guests were also catered for, as they were allowed to create their own works of art by making lanterns, which were then proudly presented in the mini St. Martin's procession through the centre.

Numerous visitors from across the region came to the Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet for the atmospheric start to the pre-Christmas season. In the lovingly decorated huts of the Christmas market, guests enjoyed winter delicacies, discovered their first gift ideas in the stores and were swept away by the romantic Christmas music of the live musical acts. This year's ‘Turn on the lights x Instyle’ event was thus a successful start to the winter season.

The shopping experience continues from 10th November with the popular Black Week, when numerous offers and attractive discounts invite visitors to enjoy extensive shopping until 1st December – with extended opening hours until 9 p.m. on Black Friday.
