World Cup Final Sprint at UNIQ TOWERS: Live Scores Thrill Crowds in Düsseldorf's Medienhafen

Night after night, the eyes of many soccer fans are currently turned toward the UNIQ TOWERS in Düsseldorf’s Medienhafen. Since the start of the 2026 Soccer World Cup, live scores from the matches have been projected onto the facade of the new building complex. With a projection height of up to 71 meters, this is likely the world’s largest World Cup scoreboard, according to the organizers.

The projections, visible from afar, transform the four towers at Kaistraße 1 into an extraordinary landmark for the World Cup. Especially in the late evening and at night, when matches are being played in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, the latest scores light up the Medienhafen and can even be seen from the Rheinknie Bridge and surrounding neighborhoods.

Dr. Hanjo Hautz, Managing Director of the MOMENI Group, offers an initial assessment: “The response to the campaign has been exceptionally positive. We’ve received a lot of encouragement, and we’re delighted to see that so many people are taking notice of the projections. Our goal was to connect the UNIQ TOWERS to life in the Medienhafen in a special way even before their completion. The fact that the new building complex is already generating a great deal of interest and is visibly bringing the World Cup to Düsseldorf for a few weeks is clearly being very well received.”

The technical infrastructure for the event was set up on the rooftop terraces of the complex. Several high-powered projectors display the results of the ongoing matches in real time onto the striking building facades. The World Cup projections will continue through the final on July 19, 2026.

With this initiative, UNIQ TOWERS is also offering a glimpse into its future role in the Media Harbor. Developed by the MOMENI Group in collaboration with Black Horse Investments and designed by Christoph Ingenhoven and ingenhoven associates, the complex comprises four towers with up to 18 stories, making it one of Düsseldorf’s most striking new construction projects. Spanning approximately 30,000 square meters of gross floor area, the development will feature modern office spaces, green rooftop terraces, and publicly accessible open spaces that will help further revitalize the neighborhood in the future.

The UNIQ TOWERS are scheduled for completion by the end of 2026. Work is currently underway on installing the facade, landscaping the outdoor areas, and constructing the rooftop terraces. Even now, the project demonstrates how architecture, urban development, and social events can be uniquely intertwined.
